Project created for Marmomacc 2017 by Odoardo Fioravanti, one of the greatest interpreters of contemporary design, “OASI” is a stone and metal table.
The bases are important conical cylinders in Vicenza stone from the quarries of Grassi Pietre.
The upper part of the bases opens and through the grooves, a sort of “stamps”, is hooked to the wide metal sheet joint.
The stone, thus, seems to gently resurface from the metal as if it were soft matter, also obtaining useful areas at the center of the tables suitable for hosting centerpieces or even natural trivets.
