Grassi Pietre involved in a 2019 Pinnacle Awards edition winning project
Our company has received a special mention, during the Pinnacle Awards ceremony, January 28, 2020, at Mandala Bay Convention Center, in Las Vegas where TISE is held. The International Surface Event – TISE – is the most important North America fair for stone, marble, surfaces and tiles, materials and technologies. Carnevale and Lohr is the 2019 Pinnacle Awards edition winner in the renovation / restoration category, for the Christ Cathedral project.
Our stone, in the Grigio Alpi type, has been selected by Johnson Fain architectural firm, who has in charge the project to trasform the iconic Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California into Christ Cathedral: the biggest North America Catholic Church.
1.800 Vicenza stone square meters have been layed by Carnevale and Lohr, for flooring and for the steps that go up to the altar.
Nowadays we admire the Palladio stone in the Christ Cathedral, in Grigio Alpi type, that thanks to its soft and natural grey colour is increasingly wanted in refined projects by architects and designers worldwide.
TISE takes place, gathering three international stone fairs: StonExpo, Marmomacc and Tile Expo.
Every year on January many visitors and exhibitors flow to Las Vegas from all over the world to attend the TISE event. Grassi Piere as official member of Natural Stone Institute exhibits at booth 3248.
In 2015 Grassi Pietre won the Pinnacle Award, with the Cantina Zyme project.
