Gianmaria Colognese was born in Verona in 1947, he graduated in architecture in Venice with Ignazio Gardella in 1972. He immediately started working as an architect, designer, painter and sculptor, with commissions from private and public customers.
In his career he has the opportunity to work with famous architects, designers and artists such as Ugo La Pietra, Alessandro Mendini and Nanda Vigo, and Virginio Ferrari, with whom he takes part to many art and design exhibitions. His versatility allows him to work and “speak” with many materials: ceramic Raku, alabaster of Volterra, Spilimbergo mosaic and Murano glass.
He is professor at Cignaroli Academy of Fine Arts in Verona. His beautiful works are presented in several art museums and Italian foundations.
